Descrição:
The job exists for the purpose of claims registration and assisting in the claims processing and third-party recoveries processes.
Funções ou responsabilidades:
1. New claims registration: Receives and acknowledges receipt of claim, registers claim on KIT. Submits claim for premium confirmation. Confirmation of cover. Appoints the right assessor to verify claims costs. Drafts claims letters to clients.
2. Claims payment: complete the claims check list. Generates payment requisition in the KIT system for all claims. Collect client experience feedback forms. Submit the file for approval to the superiors.
3. Processing of recoveries: identifies excess to be recovered either from reinsurer or third party. Prepares cash call and submits to reinsures. Close all files with no after confirming no recoveries.
4. Portfolio reviews and claims reporting: monthly review of outstanding and updating on reserves. Advice underwriters to go off risk on bad clients who try to defraud the company. Prepares weekly payments forecast, prepares monthly claims outstanding report. Records salvage for non-motor and motor in salvage register total loss register.
5. Salvage handling: records salvage for non-motor and motor insalvage register total loss register. Hand over the salvage to the salvage contractor for disposal. Capture the receipts for salvage on KIT.
Requisitos ou qualificações:
1 year experience in claims handling.
