Job Posting 

Executive GM Assistant & External Relations Officer  

Role: 

Act as an external advisor for government and stakeholder relations department, while providing  executive assistance services support to the General Manager.

Main Responsibilities: 

External Relations: 

  • Provide analysis of government issues, trends and policies relevant to the company’s interests, and  develop strategies to support business objectives;
  • Coordinate the organization of meetings with the government, support meeting logistics, provide  written and verbal briefings, as needed.
  • Manage all communications channels including social media, portal and website.
  • Conceptualize and create designs and layouts using appropriate programs.
  • Monitor media coverage on topics relevant to Coral FLNG and provide a daily clipping about the  industry and country.
  • Plan, organize and execute corporate events such as Trade fairs, conferences, exhibitions etc.
  • Ensure effective managements of budget.

Executive GM Assistant 

  • Act as the focal point for the General Manager’s correspondence and calls.
  • Manage the General Manager’s schedule, meetings, and appointments.
  • Handle mail, draft reports, and correspondence for the General Manager.
  • Maintain databases and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Arrange travel and organize events and conferences for the General Manager.
  • Perform additional tasks, as required by the nature, specificities, and operational requirements of  the Company.

Qualifications and Experience:  

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Professional Secretary certification is preferred.
  • Digital Marketing Certification and Accreditation in public relations is an advantage.

Competencies: 

  • Familiarity with and/or prior experience working in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a global, virtual team as well as with internal functional  business units.
  • Effective in Administrative Services Management.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English languages (verbal and written).
  • Experience in MS Office.
